WebNov 8, 2024 · Absolutely. I've had several gas inboards and all had a 3-way valve between the intake and the engine. Garden hose fitting on the 3-way. Hook the hose up, turn the valve, then shut off the seacock. I used this to flush the motors. Even with FWC motors its good to flush the parts that do see raw water. WebJan 22, 2011 · The express and offshore are the same hull. My express had 225 4strokes and got 1.5 miles per gal at cruise. My offshore has ox66 250 2 strokes and get 1 mpg at cruise. Canyon loaded it gets less than 1mpg. If I had a choice I would get the 4 strokes. Both boats have a very large helm area with seating for 4 out of the wind and rain/spray.
