WebJun 26, 2012 · You can pop off the fill cap and clean the cover really good. Then put some duct tape over the hole. Light up the motor. Look to see what the tape is doing at idle. If it is blown off you have too much crankcase pressure and an internal problem. If it is fluttering disconnect one plug wire at a time and see if one stops it.
