"A creature moving through the area must spend 4 feet of movement for every 1 foot it moves." Forget about Difficult Terrain for the moment. Focus just on Plant Growth exclusively. If your char has a base Movement of 40 feet, you can "burn" that movement to move 10 feet. That is the base 4:1 ratio.

Webventus • 7 yr. ago. It would really be up to DM discretion. By RAW, there are two things that plant growth can do: create difficult terrain and double harvest yields. Some of the minor effects you mention seem fine, like growing flowers or feeding the party, but I'd be hesitant to allow some of the more in-depth ones.
