WebMay 17, 2016 · Simply shut the vehicle off and turn the idle adjustment screw in about a half turn to start with, then turn the key on and check TPS and make sure it reads zero. Once thats done start the vehicle and wait for the IAC steps to zero, after they go to zero slowly turn the adjustment screw counter-clockwise until the number reads between 3-10 steady.
